All Pro Dad is the part of The Fatherhood Initiative your kids get to come to.
It's a national fatherhood program from the nonprofit Family First, running in more than 1,400 chapters across the country.
In 2026 the State of Ohio partnered with All Pro Dad to bring chapters to communities like ours, and Beneath the Shade runs the Tuscarawas County chapters.
Once a month, each chapter gathers dads and kids for about an hour.
There's food. There are games.
And there's one short talk on a single idea, like honesty, courage, or keeping your word.
Then you and your kid talk about it. Not a lecture. A conversation.
You walk out with one thing to work on together before next month.
No homework, just you, your kid, and a room full of dads doing the same thing.
Kids don't remember the speeches.
They remember that Dad showed up, in front of everybody, and picked them.
Do that twelve times a year and watch what happens at home.
Come as you are. Bring your kid, or all of them.
Most chapters meet over breakfast. It's on us.
A short talk on one trait every dad wants his kid to have.
Dad and kid, face to face. We hand you the questions.
One thing to practice together until next time.
Tuscarawas County is big, so All Pro Dad meets in more than one place.
Each chapter meets at a church in a different part of the county, with its own host and its own monthly date.
Go to the one near you, or the one that fits your parenting time. Every chapter welcomes every dad.
We bring the format, the talk, the sign-up, and the team.
